- 3/4 parts sweet vermouth
- 1 dash Bitters
- 1 maraschino cherry
- 1 twist orange peel
Combine ingredients into a mixing glass with ice and stir well. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass and garnish with a cherry.
Legend has it that Lady Randolph Churchill asked for a CC with something "sweet", whilst being entertained at the famous Manhattan Club in New York. The Barman added some sweet Vermouth and a dash of Bitters, and the legend was born! |  | Paris CC Sidecar 1 parts Canadian Club Whisky 12YO 3/4 parts Triple Sec 1 parts lemon juice
Pout the ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice cubes. Shake well. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
If the Manhattan was the first cocktail then the Paris Sidecar was not very far behind. First created in Paris at the turn of the century it is classically French with Triple Sec and citron press blending perfectly with CC 12YO. |  | London CC Churchill - 1 parts Canadian Club Whisky 12YO
- 1 parts lime juice
- 1 part Sweet Vermouth
- 1 part Triple Sec
Shake the ingredients together with ice, and strain into a cocktail glass.

- 1/2 parts bitters
- 1/2/ parts Sweet Vermouth
- Lemon peel
Stir all ingredients, except lemon peel, with ice in a pitcher and strain into a glass. Twist lemon peel over the drink and drop into glass.
This cocktail came to prominence in Rome when the "Rocky" films starring Sylvester Stallone were at their height - hence the name. With both Bitters and Vermouth, it's about as Italian as a Roman can get! |
